India blind cricket team beat Sri Lanka Blind Cricket by 34 runs in the 2nd T20 match and took a 2-0 lead in the 5-Match series at Mumbai today.

The hosts won the toss and elected to bat first. Once again they got off to a flying start with both openers scoring at a brisk pace. The pair brought up the 100 run partnership in the 10th over which proved the fire power of the Indians at the top of the order.

R Venkateswara was the first to fall just 3 short of his half century but his partner M Deepak kept on the attack and reached a well deserved century. India lost only 2 wickets in their 20 overs and quick fire 66 by S Ramesh at No 4, helped them post a mammoth 236.

Lankans had their backs against the wall when then came out to bat. Yet again, they needed a strong start from their openers. However, the top order failed again and it was the big wicket of Priyanth Kumara which put a lot of pressure on the visitors. However, for the second wicket Saman Kumara and Wasantha added 61 runs but they failed to kept the tempo up.

Wickets tumbled as the lankans tried to up the ante and it was only K Silva who made a valuable contribution. He followed up his half century in the first match by another one today but once again it was all in vain as they could only score 202 runs.
