Colombo Lions managed to keep a clean sheet against Peshwar Wolfpack, Pakistan in the opening game of the SAGT Triangular Trophy winning by 24-00.
The opening game was attended by the Ambassador of United States Athul Keshap as the Chief Guest and Ms. Dhashma Karunaratne was the Guest of Honour.
The Lions got onto a good start touching down twice in the first half to lead proceedings 10-00 at lemons and made sure that they left no space for the Wolfs to find any lapses in their defense in the second half adding 14 more points to win the game 24-00.
In the next game Peshwar Wolfpack, Pakistan will meet Jaffna Bulls on the 08th of November, at 04.30pm at the Race Course Stadium.
