History

Blue & Gold Hockey sevens was one of the first inter-school tournaments to be organised in the island in the recent past. We feel that this tournament gave an opportunity for the students to enjoy a semblance of happiness and relaxation amidst stiff competition.  RCHC has been successful in improving the standard of Hockey at Royal College. We assume that this was a catalyst for many schools to improve the standard of hockey.

The winners list of last year’s tournament is attached herewith.

This being an “All Island Inter Schools Event “of almost all the Hockey playing schools, I would be most grateful if you could support this tournament this year and in the future by giving  wide publicity on your newspapers and the television.

If you need further information please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned.

With your support we would be able to take the game Hockey to a higher level and popularise the game among the public which in turn will help to bring glory and honour to our country.
