{"id":2303995,"date":"2019-01-08T15:01:05","date_gmt":"2019-01-08T09:31:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thepapare.com\/?p=2303995"},"modified":"2019-01-10T16:41:09","modified_gmt":"2019-01-10T11:11:09","slug":"colombo-rowing-club-ready-rule-waters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thepapare.com\/colombo-rowing-club-ready-rule-waters\/","title":{"rendered":"Colombo Rowing Club ready to rule the waters!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>The Amateur Rowing Association of the East &amp; Far East Amateur Rowing Association (ARAE FEARA) Regatta will hit the waters of Rabindra Sarobar in Calcutta for its 77<\/b><b>th<\/b><b> edition later today, and carry on until the 10<\/b><b>th<\/b><b> of January. <\/b><b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Colombo Rowing Club (CRC) is set to make their mark at the ARAE FEARA Regatta 2019 as a revamped and bigger crew of 18 members readies themselves to bring glory to the prestigious club.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Photos: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thepapare.com\/photos-colombo-rowing-club-crew-2019\/\">Colombo Rowing Club Crew 2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The last time a crew of 18 members represented the Colombo Rowing Club, it ended in celebration, as both the Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s overall championships were won by the Lankan club; under the then Skipper Shehan Muthugala, CRC took part in the 75th\u00a0ARAE FEARA Regatta in Madras in 2016. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last year, with a crew of just half the number than this time, the local club failed to defend their title.
