The opening match of the Dialog Clifford cup between CR & FC vs Army took place at the Race Course grounds this evening. CR won convincingly 35 (T5, C2, P2) to 20 (T3, C1, P1)

The Soldiers are the only team who beat Kandy in round one with a 21 – 13 margin. With a different team and a man going off with a red card Kandy won the match convincingly at Nittawela.

Ex-Peterite captain and center-three quarter Danushka Ranjan scored a hat-trick of tries as Havelock SC out powered Army SC by 31-23 points in their Dialog Rugby League 2014/15 encounter at Havelock Park on Friday evening. 

Apisai Naqaliva inspired Police with a hat-trick of tries and moving on to become the highest try scorer in the league whilst Navy overcame easily in the second half against the Air Force despite a 21-20 score at half time.

Second round week 13 of the Dialog Rugby league clash between the hosts Army v Police was won by the visitors with a 27 (T4, C2, P1) – 18 (T2, C1, P2) at the Race Course this evening.

A scoreless second half for the Soldiers was sufficient to hold on for a win over the Airmen. Army lead 24 – 08 at the lemons as the visitors scored the only try in the second half. Full time – Army 24 (T4, C2) – Air Force 13 (T2, P1)

Being in the bracket of the few teams which performed outstandingly in the premier limited overs tournament, Army CC is revamped with a novel game plan to recapitulate their performance in the longer version of the game.

Second round, week 11 of Dialog Rugby League match between the Sailors and the Soldiers ended up with 43 (T7, C4) to 08 (T1, P1) in favor of the defending champions yesterday at Welisara.

The second round of Dialog Rugby League 2014/15 kicked of today between CR&FC and the Army SC, where the visiting Soldiers took the revenge after losing to CR in the first round. CR 18 (T2, C1, P2) – Army 21 (T2, C1, P3)

Clinical Army SC knocked over Police SC by 41 points (6T, 4C, 1P) to 20 (3T, 1C, 1P) points in a week 9 fixture in the Dialog Rugby League played at Police Park on Sunday.
