Air Force got thrashed in the first week of the season against Kandy to 78 – 09 and yet again they suffered a big blow as the full time score stood in favor of the hosts Kandy 66 (T10 C8) – Air Force 27 (T3 C3 P2)in week 14 at Nittawela today.

The curtain raiser for the Maitland crescent lads for the Dialog Rugby League 2014 took place today vs. Air Force SC. Air Force with the hope to bounce back into the season set foot on the lawn after the loss they suffered to Kandy SC in the earlier encounter.
A season opener for Kandy could not have turned out better with quite a few of the bench getting an airing against the foreigner- less Air Force in their Dialog Rugby clash today at Ratmalane.
