NDB and the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) will host this year’s annual ‘Inter School Golf Championship’ on Saturday July 26 at RCGC. This year’s tournament will be organized by S Thomas’ Preparatory School.
Although it’s titled as an inter-school golf tournament the majority of the participants will be old boys from their respective schools. The tournament organizers expect the participation of over 200 players from 22 schools from several parts of the country.
Ananda College, St Benedict’s College, S Thomas’ College, Nalanda College, St. Peter’s College, Thurstan College, Royal College, St. Joseph’s College, , DS Senanayake College, St Anthony’s College, Trinity College, Wesley College, Isipathana College, Vishaka Vidyalaya, Asian International School, Holy Family Convent, and Ladies College have already confirmed their participation in the event.
NDB the premier sponsor of the Championship expressed their pleasure in sponsoring such an event.

This is the only dedicated inter-school Golf tournament in the country and with this partnership we hope to contribute towards popularization of the game,” the Assistant Vice President, NDB Marketing, Sanjaya Senarath.
