The 10+ & below age group category (Bronze Division) concluded after day two of the championship which is currently being played at the Royal Colombo Golf Club, Colombo. Nigel Fernando of USA sparkled to clinch the win playing consistent golf over 2 rounds with total score of 92 and coming second was C.D. M Hirushan with 98.

Over 70 juniors took to the field at the Royal Colombo Golf Club to battle it out for top honours under tough conditions on Day 1 of the Sri Lanka Junior Open.

The Sri Lanka Junior Open Golf Championship 2012 will be held from December 19 to 21 at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC).

The Sri Lanka Golf Union organized UTE-CAT Sri Lanka Open Golf Championship 2012 reached a sensational climax with Anura Rohana proving his experience and ability to overhaul Championship leader Vijitha Bandara to defend the Title and win the Championship for the 7th time. 

 Vijitha Bandara 7 strokes clear of a bunch of Professional Golfers poised to pounce on the leader. 

Vijitha Bandara took ‘centre stage’ and established a seemingly unassailable lead of 7 strokes from overnight joint leader Tissa Chandradasa.

The 2012 Sri Lanka Open Golf Championship got off to a sensational start with Vijitha Bandara (Victoria Golf & Country Resort - VGCR) and Tissa Chandradasa (Royal Colombo Golf Club - RCGC) shooting 5 under par each (66) to share the lead overshadowing bigger names in the field of 60.

The Annual Sri Lanka Men’s Open Golf Championship will be held at the Royal Colombo Golf Club from 3rd to 7th December 2012
