The Zonal Sports Meet will be conducted by the Akkaraipattu Zonal Education Office on April 27, 28 and 29 at the Central College (National School) Play Ground in Akkaraipattu .
This sports meet is organized by Akkaraipattu Educational Zone Physical Education Assistant Education Director S.M.Jameel under the guidance of Education Ministry and Eastern Provincial Education Department.
Over 650 students from Akkaraipattu, Addalaichenai and Pottuvil educational divisions schools will take part in this meet in which the winners will receive awards and trophies. Special awards will be presented to best schools and most outstanding athletes as well.
The prize giving ceremony will be held under the patronage of Akkaraipattu Zonal Education Director A.L.M.Cassim. Deputy and Assistant Education Directors, Divisional Education Officers, Principals and Sports Teachers will be present on this occasion.
