U15 Cricket – Eight quarter-finalists decided

Defending champions, S. Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia, runner-up St. Sebastian’s College Moratuwa, Holy Cross College Kalutara, Nalanda College Colombo, St. Joseph’s College Colombo, Mahanama College Colombo, De Mazenod College Kandana and Prince of Wales College Moratuwa advanced to the quarter finals of ‘Singer Trophy’ Under 15 division 1 inter schools cricket tournament 2016.

Kavindu Umayanga, skipper of Holy Cross College Kalutara scored his second double century when he clobbered unbeaten 201 runs in 139 balls with 22 boundaries and 11 sixes during their pre-quarter final fixture against D.S Senanayake College which they won on first innings.
