National Selectors have named Lahiru Thirimanne as the captain of the Sri Lanka Board President’s XI squad which will face Pakistan in a warm-up game on 20th August at De Soysa Stadium in Moratuwa.
Many players who have been included in the national squad to play against Pakistan in the 3-match ODI series has also been included for match practices. Consistent performers during the Sri Lanka ‘A’ tour of England and Ireland, such as Dhanushka Gunathilake, Chathuranga De Silva and Lahiru Gamage have been selected as well.
