Brendon Taylor and Hamilton Masakadza have been included in Zimbabwe’s squad for their limited-overs tour to the Netherlands. The veteran duo, who had missed the UAE series due to injuries, will be a part of the 16-member squad, which also includes Richmond Mutumbami, Tinashe Kamunhukamwe, Ryan Burl. Masakadza will lead the side again after Peter Moor took over the reign in his absence.
Zimbabwe have left out Regis Chakabva, Timycen Maruma, Brian Chari, Brandon Mavuta, Tony Munyonga from the squad, which would make Richmond Mutumbami the frontrunner to take over the keeping responsibilities.
Meanwhile, Netherlands have recalled pacer Vivian Kingma and teenage allrounder Bas de Leede to their 13-member squad. Veteran all-rounder Ryan ten Doeschate has made himself unavailable for selection due to County assignment, along with other players playing in the English domestic championship – Shane Snater and Timm van der Gugten. However, Roelof van der Merwe and Paul van Meekeren, as well as Fred Klaassen, have been named in the side.
Saqib Zulfiqar too finds a place in the side at the expense of his brother Sikander.
The tour begins with the ODI leg, starting on June 19. The two ODIs in Deventer will be followed by two T20Is in Rotterdam.
