St. Joseph’s College has taken steps to organize a junior cricket carnival with the aim of providing motivation for the younger generation of cricketers who are just strapping up their boot laces for a successful cricketing career.

The carnival will be held from the 2nd of April to the 7th of April at the College main grounds from 8am to 5pm. The opening Ceremony will be held on the 2nd of April at 7.30 am and the finals are scheduled to be played at 12.3pm on the 7th of April.
There will be a total of 5 teams taking part, battling it out for the Fairly Dalpadado trophy. The teams have been named the Joes Blue, Red, Green, Gray and Purple with the normal rules and regulations being applied in a 30-over u-13 league tournament.
Each team will play 4 games over 5 allocated days and the top two teams will play in the finals while the 3rd and the 4th teams will play for the third spot of the tournament.
