The Sri Lankan Community open bowling tournament organized by Hameed Al Husseinie College Colombo – OBA Qatar, is scheduled to be held on the 02nd of February (Friday) 2018 at Qatar Bowling Center, Doha from 6 pm onwards.
This tournament is open for all Sri Lankans residing in Qatar and the main objective of it is to create fellowship among Sri Lankans residing in Qatar with a motto of “Bring Unity Through Sports”. This tournament will also mark Sri Lanka’s 70th Independence Day and Qatar National Sports Day. The tournament is categorized into Men’s Team, King of Bowling (Men’s Single), Queen of Bowling (Women’s Single) and kids (Under 12). The event is organized by Hameed Al Husseinie College Colombo – OBA Qatar which was formed in 2010 in order to gather all past students under one umbrella to assist their Alma mater. Hameed Al Husseinie College Colombo is the first Muslim school in the Island which has 133 years of history and pride.
