The Team in a Nutshell

Even though the team lost four seniors as the 2016 season ended, the rest of the members have stepped up to the plate to back up the skipper for the 2017 season Naveen Akash. Alongside Akash stands Nimash Malinka and Thalash De Mel who together creates the balance of the team.

Greshan Anthony the mentor of the side for the year 2017, believes that he could rotate the players and have an array of options in substitutions since all the members of the team are equally up to the mark in talent.

The key for the lads will be their long range shooting skills. Possessing a couple of skilled point-guards the team will excel in rotating the ball around the perimeter to execute the set plays.

The team practices 6 days a week adapting themselves to a fast track program since the time is not on their side as the practices were disrupted with the on-going examinations. In addition to this, the team does strength training separately to keep par with the fitness levels required. During the few days leading to the tournament, the team has been playing a lot of friendly matches and matches against old boys to develop the overall game they play.
