Sri Lanka Deaf Cricket to host Pakistan Deaf Cricket Team

On the invitation of the Executive Committee of the Sri Lanka Deaf Cricket Association (SLDCA), the Pakistan Deaf Cricket Team will be touring Sri Lanka from the 20 – 25th of November 2017. The two teams will play two 50 over matches and three T20 matches at the Tyronne Fernando Stadium, Kettarama Stadium and the Galle International Cricket Stadium.

The schedule of matches are as follows

20th November 2017 1st 50 Over Cricket match at the

Tyronne Fernando Stadium, Moratuwa

22nd November 2017 2nd 50 Over Cricket match at the

Galle International Cricket Grounds

23rd November 2017 1st T20 Cricket Match at the  

R. Premadasa International Cricket Grounds

24th November 2017 2nd T20 Cricket Match at the

Tyronne Fernando Stadium, Moratuwa

25th November 2017 3rd T20 Cricket Match at the

Tyronne Fernando Stadium, Moratuwa followed by the Closing Ceremony

The above tournament is being organized on the backdrop of the Sri Lanka Deaf Cricket Association winning the bid to host the T20 World Cup for the Deaf in 2018 in Sri Lanka. Incidentally the Sri Lanka Deaf Cricket Team were also the Runners up of the recently concluded Deaf Cricket Asia Cup held in Hyderabad, India in March 2017.
