The 3rd and final day of the warm-up match between Sri Lanka Board President’s XI vs New Zealanders was called off as two days were completely washed out due heavy rain at Katunayake, Air Force ground.

New Zealanders left frustrated as they couldn’t bat all three days and the game ended as a draw after Sri Lanka declaring on 323/6 at the end of first day’s play.

The first Test of the series will begin on 14th August at Galle International Cricket stadium and the two Test matches of the series will be included in the ICC World Test Championship.
