D.S. Senanayake College vs Mahinda College
Mahinda College Galle will meet D.S. Senanayake College Colombo in the final of the ‘Singer Cup’ Under 13 division 1 inter schools cricket tournament at Wesley College grounds, Colombo on Sunday.
On their way to the final D.S. Senanayake College Colombo managed to defeat Dharmasoka College Amabalangoda, Isipathana College Colombo and Royal College Colombo in the pre quarter final, quarter final and semi final respectively.
While Mahinda College Galle managed to beat Thurstan College Colombo, St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiya and St. Sebastian’s College Moratuwa in the pre quarter final, quarter final and semi final respectively.
Both teams have been in good form and will have to at least clinch a first innings victory to win the U-13 title. Mahinda College will be led by Dhanuja Induwara while Madhawa Chathuranga will lead the DS team.
