Once again Sri Lankan skipper Nipun Dananjaya won the toss and elected to field on the same Chittagong wicket. Sri Lanka made only one change from their previous victory, Royalist Kamil Mishara came into the side at the expense of fast bowler Naveen Fernando.

The Hong Kong batsmen had no reply to the Sri Lankan spin trio, as they were all dismissed for 56 runs. Except for Adit Gorawara’s 10 runs no other batsman even cross the double digit score.
