The former Australian great Shane Warne is the man that Sangakkara is set to replace in the Sky Sports commentary box,  while Sangakkara previous had a commentary stint in England during the 2017 Champions Trophy, but could not be fully committed due to his responsibilities with Surrey, his county and the Caribbean Premier League.

He has hung up his boots in the longest format since and is just involved in T20 Leagues being played around the globe.
