With just a little over 7.5 runs to get in an over, CC had the upperhand in the run chase. However, a few bad shots and some tight bowling from the JKH bowlers caused a hiccup in the run chase. The regular fall of wickets and rise of the required rate made things tough for CC and ultimately they succumbed to 124 runs. Shiraz Mohammed, Bhanuka Rajapaksha and Vikum Sanjaya shared 2 wickets each.
