The final trials in the Relays for the 13th South Asian Games have been postponed to the 26th of November, at the previously confirmed venue, Sugathadasa Stadium.

The initial set of trials to finalize the Relay teams for the forthcoming South Asian Games, set to take place in Kathmandu Nepal, was scheduled to happen today, 20th November. All selected and shortlisted athletes in the SAG pool were instructed that this trial was mandatory if they were to represent the nation in December.

However, the trial has been pushed to the 26th of November and will serve as the final lap allocations within the relay teams where decisions will be made on who will start, and take middle and final laps.

There will also be a mandatory fitness test for all athletes in the Athletics contingent. This test is conducted in order to make certain all athletes are sustaining their peak fitness levels for Nepal.

Long distance athletes will also be summoned from the Diyathawala Training camp to stand the fitness tests, where they are currently training in high-altitude conditions to prepare for the cold in Nepal.

The Athletics team will leave the country on the 28th November to Kathmandu Nepal, for the 13th South Asian Games.
