Paul is a rugby tragic born and bred in New Zealand. His playing career spanned a quarter of a century in New Zealand, Australia and France. He has spent the last decade coaching schoolboy rugby in Sydney, Australia. He is in Sri Lanka with his rugby widow wife and kids while still hoping for a phone call from the All Blacks coach to say he has made the team. Hope springs eternal.
