The second classic of the day took off with Portugal in all-white running for an early goal against the exuberant Uruguay.

The magnificent striker, Cristiano Ronaldo kicked straight and sharply at the goalkeeper from the edge of the area. Without any further giveaways for the Portuguese, Luis Suarez, on the left wing, cut in and crossed the ball to Edinson Cavani which he headed into the goal marvelously.

There was a chance right after for Portugal and Jose Fonte played it across his area but no one was at hand to capitalize on it. Ronaldo was chased by the Uruguayan team to restrict any attempts at the goal.

A free kick was awarded to Uruguay which Luis Suarez failed to take advantage of it. Portugal held possession however Uruguay seemed to play dangerously. Portugal won a free kick after Rodrigo Bentancur fouled Goncalo Guedes, the Real Madrid star, Ronaldo funneled it above from 18 yards away, which was vigorously well-defended.
