Sri Lanka’s only medalist at the Commonwealth Youth Games held in 2017 in Bahamas is overjoyed that he did he best for the the country as the swimming prodigy went on to win two silver medals.
Speaking to ThePapare, Abeysinghe added that it took all his willpower to make it to the wall in both the 100m Freestyle & the 50m Freestyle to win glory and have the Lankan flag hoisted in the Bahamas
