5th Mercantile swimming championship on the 16th

The fifth annual Mercantile President's Trophy Swimming Championship which is organized by the Thurstan College Aquatic Club and Sri Lanka Amateur Aquatic Sports Union will kick off on 16th of October at Thurstan College Swimming Pool Complex and is scheduled to start at 8.00 am.

The inaugural championship was held in 2007, and organizers have made this an annual event which is marked as one of the top events in the mercantile calendar.

Last year, over 300 competitors took part representing 44 teams which itself proves the intensity of the competition and the numbers are expected to rise much higher this year.
