After a lapse of one year the most awaited cricket sixes competition in Colombo is back, the Colombo Cricfest organized by the University of Colombo, Faculty of Science will take place this weekend. The competition is the largest cricket carnival in the university system and attracts a wide range of participants from both the universities and the corporates.

This softball competition will be worked off on the 21st and 22nd on January at the University of Colombo grounds. The previous editions of this competition were well received by all and have earned itself a name as a well organized event.

Competition between teams can be fierce with the eventual winners walking away with a cool Rs 50,000 and trophy. The runners up and semifinalists will be also rewarded well as will individual performers.
