Motor Sports like you've never seen before in Hambanthota as Carlton Super Sports 2012 kicks off in January

The most anticipated Motor Sports event by the port city of Hambantota, is about to hit a milestone in its 6th consecutive year. Carlton Super Sports 2012 which would be held at the “Carlton Racing Track” in Tissamaharama on the 27th, 28th and 29th of January will once again enthrall and excite not only the conventional sports enthusiasts but the youth in general. This event is one that has introduced many “firsts” into the sporting arena of Sri Lanka.

Developed based on a concept of “Tharunyata Hetak” Chairman/Hambanthotha District Member of Parliament Honourable Namal Rajapakse, The Carlton Super Sports 2012 event is the largest sporting event seen in this country. Mr. Richard de Zoysa who is in charge of key segments of this event, stated that these sporting events would have tremendous benefit for the young men and women who take part in the numerous events within the course of these three days. Mr. de Zoysa also mentioned that they want to take these sporting events to locations where youth of that community (where the events would be held) would receive a whole new experience. The Tharunayata Hetak team thus is continuing to give their viewers the ultimate sports experience, gearing up for yet another spectacular event.

Paramotoring would be introduced to this year's event and this would also be the first time this event is being held in this country.
