International Schools 12th Athletic Championships - 2012

LYCEUM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL WATTALA CHAMPIONS FOR THE 4TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Lyceum International School Wattala won the International Schools Athletic Championship 2012 for the fourth consecutive year beating Gateway College by 110 points at the athletic meet held on the 17th 18th and 19th February 2012 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium Diyagama.

International Schools Athletic Championships (ISAC) 2012, officially organized by the Lyceum International School, Nugegoda.

Mr Anura Tennakoon, Chairman of the Cricket Board graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Lyceum .Mr.Mohan Lal Grero, Founder, Lyceum International Schools, Dr. Franck Jayasinghe, Chairman of the Principals Association of the International Schools, Mr.Sam Wijesinghe , Director of the ISAC 2012 and Principals of participating schools were also present the closing ceremony.

Lyceum Wattala bagged the U-15 Boys, U-17 Girls individual Championships and U-13, 15 and U-17 Overall championships. Several new meet records were set by Lyceum Athletes.
