49th Senior National Basketball Championship update

The final stages of the group matches of the 49th Senior National Basketball Championship came to a close yesterday. The results of the matches of the division 1 are as of below.

Sri Lanka Air Force Vs Sri Lanka Army

Half Time Scores- 48- 23 in favour of Sri Lanka Air Force

Full Time Scores- 81- 51 – SL Air Force beat SL Army

Osanda Amarasena top scored for the winning team with a total of 21 points while Gavi Cooray and Indika Wijesena scored 11 and 10 points repectively. Sriyantha Perera top scored for the losers with 18 points.

Sri Lanka Schools Vs Navy

Half Time scores- 28-27 in favour of Sri Lanka Navy

Full Time scores- 73- 51 – Sri Lanka Schools beat Sri Lanka Navy

Praneeth Udumalgala top scored for the winning side with 23 points while Clinton Stallon and Sudesh Ahamed chipped in with 16 and 12 points repectively.

Hambantota Vs Sri Lanka Police

Half Time scores- 23-20 in favour of Sri Lanka Police

Full Time scores- 58-56 Hambantota beat Sri Lanka Police

Nilanga Wickramarathne top scored for the winning side with 11 points while Thiwanka Perera and Rashmika Lawrence helped them with 8 points each. K.W.L.N Indika top scored for the losing side with 15 points.
