ThePapare turned to its fans in a quest to find out who will win the 2011 rugby world cup. The final which will take place on Sunday 23rd is between the number one team in the world New  Zealand and the 3rd ranked French team.

When asked who will win the 2011 rugby World cup final this is what our fans had to say,

Dilesha Dias- Throughout this world cup the All blacks displayed some scintillating rugby. Even though they lost Daniel Carter due to an injury they got players to fill that position. Graham Henry and rest of the crew will surely do their home work. And the flanker No. 7 Richie McCaw will guide his team to glory. Peri Weepu will have to play a big role, and also the rest of the team especially the two wingers. France's luck will come to an end in the final. Nevertheless New Zealand will score first during the match and will go on to lift the trophy after 1987 which they need badly. They deserve it. :) Blacks all the way!!!! It's the All Blacks. They richly deserve the Webb Ellis. Wish 'em all the very best.

Kanchana Udugama - France... because the All Blacks will choke like they did against the same opposition in 2007 and 1995. At least till half time, so that it becomes a fair game... In the case that they DONT choke, France have NO chance.

Shabbir Hussain- New Zealand!They will win because they are the best side in the competition in this world cup. Their side is most balanced in both forwards and three quarters and also better in attack and in defence!!!!

Thish Wick - France have gotten lucky, barely making past the group stages. Beat a terrible England side and then played a Welsh side 16 vs. 14. New Zealand to lift the Web Ellis Cup. They have played pretty decent rugby and are in form.

Rangana Ranasinghe- All Blacks :D they have a good experience playing at the eden park and the crowd support will play a huge role! And all of the above they deserve to will this!
