The Sri Lanka schools rugby all Island sevens tournament will be held on the 3rd and 4th of March, and 26 teams have confirmed their participation for the upcoming tournament.
Last year St. Peters College carried on their form from the 2010 season beating Kingswood College to take major honours at the sevens tournament while this year’s tournament will see a number of contenders vying for the top spot.
The top finishers in each of the following groups will qualify to the cup quarter finals while the losers of the quarters will automatically claim a spot in the Plate.
Finishing 2nd in the group will take the team to the Bowl category while the last team in the group stages will end up in the shield. The draw will have 3 teams in each group with just group ‘D’ and ‘E’ fielding 4 teams each.
