Sri Lanka National Rugby Selectors have selected a pool of sixty players in preparation for the HSBC Asian Five Nations Division 0ne Tournament which is scheduled to be held in Manila, Philippines from 14th April to 22nd April, 2012.

Sri Lanka, Singapore, Chinese Taipei will be participating at this year tournament and the winner will be promoted to the Asian Five Nations Top Five. Chairman selection Committee Chandrishan Perera informed that the selection committee will watch the progress of these playas and may add new players to the pool based on the injuries and the availability of the players.

The players who have selected to the Sri Lanka National Rugby Pool from following Clubs requested to be present at the Havelock Sports Club on Wednesday, 25th January 2012 at  5.00 p.m to meet the Team Manager and the Fitness Trainer and collect their Training schedule.  A date for the Fitness Tests will be notified by the Team Manager.

And the players selected from Kandy S.C and Upcountry Lions S.C. to be present at the Kandy SC grounds, Nittawela on Friday, 27th January 2012 at  5.00 p.m to meet the Team Manager and the Fitness Trainer and collect their Training schedule.  A date for the Fitness Tests will be notified by the Team Manager.
