Sri Lanka preparing for Asian Rowing Championships 2011

The 14th Asian Rowing Championships&17th Asian Junior Rowing Championships will take place at the

Lake Hwacheon Regatta Course,Hwacheon, Korea from the 13-17th October 2011

Sri lanka will be represented as follows:

Mens Light Weight Double scull- in Shehan Muthugala &, Sajeev de Silva

Mens Scull- Kushan Chandrakumara

The squad was chosen after the 27th rowing Nationals which was held a few weeks back where K. Chandra Kumara of the Air Force was placed 2nd in the Open scull even and Shehan Muthugala and Sajeev De Silva were placed 1st in the Open double scull event.

De Silva was placed 1st and Muthugala 3rd in the open scull event representing Colombo rowing club.
