Having won the toss TCK put the visitors into bat. Zahira could only muster 140 runs as Alwin Fernando picked a five-for with Lakshan Jayasinghe3 wickets, Janishka Premasinghe 2 wickets. Mahir Mohamed top scored with 42.

In reply TCK scored 247/7dec with Janishka top scoring with a well made 54, Dilshard picked 4/19.

In their second innings Zahira couldn’t muster a competitive total as they were bundled out for 171. Lakshan Edirasinghe top scored, Alwin F’do 3 wickets.

With a target of 64 to achieve victory the Lions were hoe at 1.40 with Arjuna Jayasingh hitting a six with the scores on level.

Niroshan Dickwella has lead his team from the front with over 900 runs (922) this season while deputy Janishka Premasinghe has wrecked havoc on opposintion batsman while picking 86 wickets.
