Hong Kong/Sri Lanka moved to Race Course

The U19 Rugby Championships have been moved to Racecourse a week from kick off. The game was scheduled to be played at the Havelock’s Sports Club but SLRFU has now decided to switch venues to Racecourse where the players have been practicing for the game. The match will kick off at 2.45 in the evening on the 10th of December.

The Sri Lankan squad has been finalized and the Junior Tuskers will take the field under the leadership of Naveen Henakanamge. Together with him, Chamod Fernando, Mohommed Shabeer, Dinuk Amerasinghe, all who have previous National experience will likely play on Sunday.

Having not had a good run against Hong Kong, Sri Lanka will look to turn tables at Racecourse which will be vital when we play them in the second leg in Hong Kong.
