A front-runner in the Police Sports Club, the ex-Royal player Mushin Faleel was instrumental in the Police lineup over the past few seasons. Playing at center, Faleel has earned himself a reputation to be one of the most aggressive players on the field and has proven his worth in the local circuit.

Making his entrance to the club rugby arena in 2011, Faleel made his club rugby debut at CR & FC and later moved to Police Sports Club where he excelled.

Faleel’s move comes at a significant time for Navy Sports when they are crippled with the outward bound transfers and his presence will definitely strengthen the back line for the Sailors.

Utility player Mohamed Abzal will be the other signing for the Sailors from Police SC. The former Kingswoodian, known for his quick feet was a player who could play across several positions in the backline. In his stint with the Cops, Abzal has played at several positions such as scrum half, wing and full back.

The 26-year-old was the playmaker for the Police side last year but could not do too much with the ball as Police couldn’t make it to the top 3.
