Sri Lanka Cricket has decided to postpone the Dialog Sri Lanka Cricket Awards to November 30th due to unavoidable circumstances.
As announced on 22nd August at a Press briefing, the gala awards night was earlier scheduled to be held on the 21st of September, 2016 at Water’s Edge.
Sri Lanka Cricket announced the decision in an official communiqué, saying “Sri Lanka Cricket wishes to announce that it is formulating a new selection criteria for the upcoming Cricket Awards, taking into consideration the best Junior & Senior cricketers who have performed exceptionally well during the last year.”
This will be the 8th consecutive awards ceremony by Sri Lanka Cricket to honour their cricketers and the 4th successive time it has been sponsored by Sri Lanka’s leading telecom service provider, Dialog Axiata PLC
