First round matches of the Singer U17 Div I limited overs tournament are taking place around the island. Here’s brief look into few of the matches which concluded during the last couple of days.
Prince of Wales College VS Nalanda College
5 overs were reduced due to the late start to this group A clash. POW was asked to bat first and they struggled their way to 100 runs before they were bowled out by the Nalandians. POW then put up a brilliant bowling performance to bundle out Nalanda for just 87 runs which gave them a 13 run victory.

Overs were reduced to 24 due to the late start in this clash. Bens was asked to bat first and they posted 120 runs in 23.5 overs. In reply Ananda lost a few wickets but ultimately got over the line in the 22 over with three wickets in hand.
