Winning the toss Devapathiraja College invited Anula Vidyalaya to bat first. Anula Vidyalaya didn’t make any sort of impact in their innings as they were bundled out for a below par 109/5 in their allocated 20 overs. Janadi Anali top scored with an unbeaten 40 for Anula Vidyalaya as Telisia Chathurani bagged 2/18. 

In response, Devapathiraja were in total control of their chase as they managed to close down their target 18.2 overs with just a couple of casualties.

St. Anthony’s Girls College v Vijayabahu MV

St. Anthony’s ended the girls U19 limited overs tournament on a high as they narrowly beat the Vijayabahu MV ladies by a slender 2 runs in the 3rd place playoff game worked off at Campbell Park. 

Batting first the St. Anthony’s ladies mustered a respectable 112/1 in their allocated 20 overs as Sanduni Nissansala starred with an unbeaten 55. In response the Vijayaba women kept losing wickets at regular intervals as they could not gather the required momentum in their pursuit of victory. 

Despite a late surge, the latter fell short agonizingly close by a mere 2 runs as Vijayaba MV ended their innings at a 110/7 in their allocated 20 overs.
