The third and final ODI between Sri Lanka Blind Cricket Team and India Blind Cricket Team concluded with the visitors registering a 66 run victory at the BRC grounds.

It was their pride on the line as the reigning world champions, India came to the third and final game today. Sri Lanka already had the series in their grasp as they proved to be the better side in their own backyard.

The previous two matches were interrupted due to rain but today there wasn’t any delay or loss of overs. India decided to bat first and registered a mammoth 323 for 8 in their allocated 40 overs. Ganesh Mudhkar top scored with 86 runs while Sunil Ramesh contributed with a valuable half century.

With the ball in hand for the hosts, Chandana Sooriyarachchi, Kosala Herath and Dinesh Mathugama shared 2 wickets each.

Sri Lankans came in to bat with their backs against the wall. The regular fall of wickets took away their chances of registering a clean sweep in the series as they were bundled out for 255 runs. Sahan Kumara put together a valiant effort with the bat scoring 84 runs but he didn’t get enough support from the rest as  the Indian bowlers took control of the game.

Despite losing the 3rd and final match, the Sri Lankans would be thoroughly happy with their performances in the series.
