Kandy v Navy                     20.03.2016 (Sunday)                       KO: 4.15pm                         @Pallekele

Kandy too beat Navy twice 29 – 10 and 19 – 08 in the concluded league. The question is if playing in a neutral venue like Pallekele worry the champions? Perhaps the answer would be a NO judging at the class performance which we witnessed. Kandy forwards and the backs showcased a brilliant team performance. The battle between Kishore Jehan and Stephan Greogory will be a one to watch. Navy Center Lee Keegal was in a fine form with his attack and defence and he will have a big role to play in the hills controlling the game along with Chanaka Chandimal in the pivotal fly half spot. Nigel Ratwatte has been outstanding for Kandy and his decision making and kicking will play a vital part for the champions.

Richard Dharmapala and Danush Dayan are also in a fine form with their pace and stepping skills. Gayan Weerarathne is still out with an injury along with Fazil Marija. But Kandy still has the advantage in terms of their experience and skill set.
