Ragama CC were comprehensively beaten by Chilaw Marians inside one and a half days thanks to a stunning all-round performance by Shehan Jayasuriya who hit 80 runs with the bat while also returning with a match bag of ten wickets.

Ragama CC who trailed by 154 at the start of their second innings, were once again shot out for 148, with the Chilaw spinners doing bulk of the damage.

Army’s resurgence continued after a stunning victory over CCC last week, as they dismissed Moors for just 90 runs, with Yasoda Mendis capturing four wickets.

Army in reply made sure they secured a 121 run lead with Leo Francisco making a half century. HRC Dilshan picked up five wickets for Moors SC.
