Bahrain RFC which toured Sri Lanka to play two friendly Rugby matches during the month of April has stepped forward and donated Rugby equipment to four selected Western Province schools.
The equipment includes tackle bags, hit shields, rugby balls, boots, agility poles, marker cones, plating gear, speed ladders, foam rollers and water bottle carriers.
Chairman Mike Cunningham, on behalf of the Bahrain RFC, thanked Mr. Dilroy Fernando for organizing the two very competitive games of rugby.
“It was a privilege for all involved to be able to contribute and make a difference, all in the name of rugby. At Bahrain RFC we are delighted with the success of the tour, which we could not have done without your valuable support and contribution. Already we are excited about the possibility of returning to Sri Lanka to repeat this event and look forward to seeing the beautiful island yet again”
