Left-arm spinner Axar Patel has returned to the Indian side for the last two One-Day Internationals against Australia, set to be played in Bengaluru and Nagpur.

Axar, who was originally named in the squad for the first three ODIs, sprained his left ankle during the practice session ahead of the first match in Chennai. He was replaced by Ravindra Jadeja, who did not feature in the first three games.

The 23-year old has played 34 ODIs for India, bagging 41 wickets at an average of 29.53 and an economy rate of 4.30.

Jadeja has been left out for the last two matches, while the rest of the squad remains the same with Shikhar Dhawan being given an extended break. Dhawan was granted a leave of absence for the first three games as his wife had fallen ill and had to undergo a surgery.

India have already secured an unassailable lead 3-0 lead in the five-match series, winning in Chennai, Kolkata and Indore.
