The round robin stage of the Asian Snooker Selection Tournament for the forthcoming Asian Snooker Championship 2015 played at the Billiards and Snooker Association headquarters billiards table at the Sugathadasa Sports Hotel in Colombo which concluded on Saturday.
The tournament conducted by the Billiards and Snooker Association saw the participation of the top 32 cueists in the island that was divided into eight groups of four players in each group.
The champion and runner-up of the tournament will qualify to represent Sri Lanka at the Asian Snooker Championship scheduled to be held in Malaysia this year. The pre-quarter-finals are scheduled to be played on April 28 and the quarter-finals on April 29 which will be contested over seven frames. The semi-finals will be played over nine frames and the final over 11 frames.
